TabTrade - What Traders Should Know

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
